ABOUT ME
I grew up thinking I wanted to be in front of the camera, but that quickly changed as I grew up and realized that I loved being behind the lens. My brain is more creative than anything, and I believe that shows in my camera work and in my edits. I graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a degree in Film & Media and worked in the commercial production industry for a few years afterward. I found that the corporate life stuck me and my creativity into a box, so I took matters into my own hands to create Emerald Rose Studios, providing photography and videography for anyone who asks, no matter their location or background.
I have a small but mighty family in Northern Idaho (where I grew up) and a large and in-charge adopted family in Phoenix, Oregon through my boyfriend, Alex. In my free time, I love gardening, movies, and organization. I am a fierce advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and an ally to my friends and family of color.
